Leon Knock

Leon Knock, age 92 of Louisville passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home in Louisville, Missouri. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the St. Clement Catholic Church in St. Clement with Rev. Jason T. Doke, S.T.L. officiating. Burial will be in the St. Clement Cemetery. Leon was born May 3, 1925 in Hobart, Missouri the son of George Otto and Ruby Belle Estes Knock. On April 7, 1948 in St. Clement he married Geneva Orf. She survives. Other survivors include son George Lee Knock of Louisville; daughters Shelba Northcutt (Walter) of Middletown, Geanine Mudd (Doug) of Silex, Sheila Knock (Ed Backer) of Louisville, Jennifer Fisher (Malcolm) of Curryville, Cynthia Rucker (Bill Perkins) of Supply, NC; grandchildren Jill (Northcutt) Miller, Geff & Julie (Northcutt) Dunn, Tom & Jodi (Rucker) Peterson, Houston & Michelle (Knock) Mueller, Wes & Marley (Knock) Scherder, Cody & Georgia (Knock) Hearn, Chad & Ashley Mudd, Kyle Mudd, Kyli Becker, Cody Mudd, Paul & Leea (Fisher) Smith, Logan Fisher; great-grandchildren Josh Miller, Shelby, Sydney, Sophia and Jaxson Dunn, Michael, Matthew and Luke Peterson, Claire, Caroline and Carl Mueller, McKinli Scherder, Caelyn and Raelyn Hearn, Jack and Mia Mudd, Bayleigh Mudd; sisters Eileen Ryan of Silex, Imogene Colbert (Junior) of Jacksonville, IL, Joann Edmiston (Larry) of Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Verona Brewer, grandchildren Megan Knock and Tyler Lumpkin; baby brothers Bobby Estes Knock and Marvin Otto Knock who died in infancy; and brother-in-laws Harry Ryan and William Brewer. Leon lived in Louisville most all of his life and was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church. He served in the army during World War II. Leon enjoyed hunting, farming, mowing his yard, running the dozer and taking care of his cows. Pallbearers will be Doug Mudd, Chad Mudd, Kyle Mudd, Cody Mudd, Logan Fisher and Michael Peterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Miller, Jaxson Dunn, Matthew Peterson, Luke Peterson, Jack Mudd and Carl Mueller. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, Disabled American Veterans or the St. Clement Cemetery.
