Tichacek officiating. Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex, Mo. Prayer service will be held at 7:15 p.m.She was born February 2, 1930 in Silex, the daughter of Bert and Mary Elizabeth Royster Haddock. She was married on July 24, 1948 to Robert Donley Norton in Millwood, he preceded her in death February 24, 2006. She was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and belonged to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood. She attended school at Copper Springs (Pea Ridge) and graduated from Silex High School. Elizabeth enjoyed all of the friends she made while working at Bill’s Market.She is survived by children, David Norton and wife Beverly, of Rocky Mount, Mo, Carolyn McCruden and husband Clayton, of Hannibal, Mo, Linda Dowell and husband Lonnie, of Centralia, Mo, Leon Norton and wife, Connie, Melvin Norton and friend Dottie Crenshaw, Raymond Norton and Mary Teasley and husband, Brent, all of Silex, Mo; 13 grandchildren, Dwayne Norton of Troy, Mo, Brian Norton of Girard, Kan., Melissa Jones of Elsberry, Mo, Cory Norton of Elsberry, Mo, Ben Norton of Moscow Mills, Mo, Kristen Deckerd of Arlington Heights, Ill, Karla Dowell of St. Louis, Mo, Stacy Norton of Troy, Mo, Darren Norton of O’fallon, Mo, Ashley Heuermann of Troy, Mo, Jason Dowell of Centralia, Mo, Tory Teasley of Silex, Mo, Trent Teasley of Silex, Mo; 8 great- grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents; three brothers, Joseph Haddock, Wilmer Haddock, Glenn Haddock; two sisters, Mildred Haddock Mudd and Lorene Haddock Dempsey and one grandson, Tyler Teasley.Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to St. Alphonsus School Tuition Endowment Fund or Mass Intentions.
