Martin "Keith" Schneidler

Martin “Keith” Schneidler, 67, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at his home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11:15 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Bowling Green, with Father Walter and Deacon Wayne Korte officiating. Burial will be in the St. Clement Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, July 17th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Keith was born January 25, 1959, to Daniel Louis and Mary Lois (Colbert) Schneidler in Louisiana, Missouri. Mary survives. Keith was united in marriage to Tammy Perkins on November 26, 1994, at New Harmony Church. Tammy also survives. Keith lived his entire life in Pike County. He was a 1977 graduate of Bowling Green High School. After graduation, Keith immediately joined the work force. He spent time farming with his Uncle Bob Grote and Larry Kelch, as well as working at B & R Truss Company in St. Peters for many years. Keith eventually landed at True Manufacturing in Bowling Green from where he had recently retired after nearly 20 years of employment. Keith was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church and also a member of the St. Clement Knights of Columbus. He was a selfless man, always putting himself last, and he would do anything for anyone. Keith loved to spend his free time outdoors. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping, and hunting, and he was very proud of his garden. Keith was very particular about how his yard was mowed. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and he absolutely adored his granddaughter, Braylyn. Keith was an amazing son, husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Surviving to carry on his memory are his wife, Tammy; mother, Mary of New Hartford; son, Aaron Schneidler of Bowling Green; daughters, Elizabeth Perkins-Schneidler and Erica (Austin) Pruitt, both of Bowling Green; granddaughter, Braylyn Pruitt; brothers, Kevin (Cheryl) Schneidler of Bowling Green, Ken (Doreen) Schneidler of Bowling Green, and Kurt (Tami) Schneidler of New Hartford; sisters, Karla (Steve) Hoepf of Bowling Green and Kristy Portwood of Troy; Goddaughter, Kelli Schulte; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. Preceding Keith in death were his paternal and maternal grandparents; father, Daniel; and brother-in-law, Larry Portwood. Honorary pallbearers will be David Mudd, Daryl Mudd, and Petey Mudd. Memorials may be made to Pike County Home Health and Hospice.
