William "Zeke" Feldmann

William “Zeke” Feldmann, age 83, of Bowling Green went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, May 8, 2015, at his home with his family by his side. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years and the love of his life, Patsy (Dunn) Feldmann. Two sons, Rick Feldmann (Carla) of Bowling Green, and Alan Feldmann (Patti) of Troy. One grand-daughter, Asheley Danuser (Cody) of Bowling Green. Grandsons, Brandon Feldmann, of Bowling Green, Eli Feldmann of Drumright, OK, and Jacob Feldmann of Bowling Green. One great grandson Brody Danuser. William is also survived by three sisters Vernita Oney of Springfield, IL, Eileen Baxter of Davidson, NC, and Darelne Baulmann of Louisiana, along with many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Buddy Feldmann; three sisters Aurora Orr, Dorthy Nell Bunton and Shirley Elgin; and a son Michael who died upon birth. William was born, March 28, 1932, in St. Clement the son of William and Gesina Feldmann. He was raised in Bowling Green. William was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served his country proudly from June 23, 1953 – May 17, 1955. He married Pat in 1952 and together they resided in Bowling Green and raised 2 sons, Rick and Alan. “Zeke” as most knew him, was employed at Pike County Highway Department for 20 years. He was a heavy equipment operator, and retired from Holcim in 1995. Zeke loved to hunt and fish, but his biggest joy came from simply “tinkering” in his shop. He was a quiet type, with a gentle strength and humble pride. He loved unconditionally. A selfless friend, who would set aside all self-concerns to help another. Loved and respected by all who were blessed to know him. His honor, and integrity were beyond question. A man of great dignity. He was a member of the Warrenton Community Church. “Zeke” was simply one of the Lords greatest examples of a devoted husband, and a loving mentor, daddy and Grandpa. Zeke chose cremation. A private memorial will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the Christ Center Church near Troy with Rev. Gene Hall officiating. Cremation rites were under the direction of Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Memorial services will be under the direction of the Christ Center Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Loving Care Hospice, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Donor’s Choice.
