Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Jamieson

February 5, 1934 - February 18, 2016

Betty Jamieson went to be with her Lord on February 18, 2016. She was born in Columbia, MO to Claud Ansel and Clara Elizabeth (Talbert) Greenlee on Feb. 5, 1934. They named her Elizabeth Ann, but she preferred to go by Betty instead. Betty married Raymond Jamieson on Dec. 4, 1955. (Her husband and parents preceded her in death.) They had three children (all surviving) -- Ramona (Darryl) Kuntz of Bowling Green, Richard Jamieson of Louisville, and Russell Jamieson of Louisville. Betty had two grandchildren (Dustin Kuntz of Denver, CO and Sara Nordyke of Bowling Green), two step-grandchildren (Toni Wankel of Troy and Tammy Cates of Port Orange, FL), and two step-great grandchildren (Peyton and Pake Zerbonia of Hannibal). She is also survived by one brother -- Claud Talbert (Sandy) Greenlee of Bowling Green – as well as nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of the Bowling Green First Christian Church. She was an avid china painter and displayed her artistic talents at festivals and craft shows for many years. Betty enjoyed bowling, volunteering at the Hope Center, and reading. She was a member of the Rebekahs for most of her life and was a past president of the Missouri State Assembly of that organization. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green on Sunday with the funeral being held 10 a.m. on Monday. Burial will be at the Louisville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Louisville Cemetery Association or the Bowling Green First Christian Church.
