Gladys “Hiles” Love, age 86, of Frankford passed away March 1, 2017 at the Boone County Hospital in Columbia. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Jerry Gamm officiating. Burial will be in the Bowling Green Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Gladys was born May 23, 1930 in Bowling Green the daughter of Walter Tinsley and Augusta Belle Sutton Hiles. On June 12, 1954 in Bowling Green she married Charles Laverne Love. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters Sharla (Kevin) Bailey of Bolvar, Marcia (Mike) Greenwell of Shelbina, and Cheryl (Kevin) Schneidler of Curryville; five grandchildren Mallory, Mitch and Mason Greenwell, Kyle and Michelle Schneidler; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Dorothy Betts and Laura Wood. Gladys was a member of the Curryville Baptist Church and served in numerous jobs. She spent most of her time taking care of the hogs on the family farm and was involved with cancer support groups including Relay for Life. Gladys was a member of the Hickory Grove Community and enjoyed camping and traveling. She was best known for her cooking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and her grandkids. Memorials may be made to the Pike County Home Health and Hospice or Pike County Relay for Life.
