Pamela Jean Calvin

January 20, 1949 - September 5, 2020

Pamela Jean Calvin, age 71, of Frankford, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 5, 2020 while at her home. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Wayne Calvin; dear daughter of the late James Bandy and Bonnie (Albert) Jamieson; cherished mother of Jerri Jean Tyler, the late Robert Wayne Calvin, AJ Calvin, Ronny (Jan) Calvin, and Glenn (Toni) Doggett; loving grandmother (Granny) of DeAnna Brewer, Brittney (Blake) Langley, Josh (Whitney) Calvin, Emalee Calvin, Bonni Calvin, Kailee (Aaron) O’Laughlin, Cole Calvin, Garrett Schoene, Gretchen Schoene, Bradley Doggett, Bristol Doggett, and Justin McDaniels; great-grandmother of Dallas, Adi, Hadley, Liam and soon-to-arrive Owen; dearest sister of the late Judy Niemeyer, Sharon (John) Dillender, and Lori (Jerry) Crane; beloved aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend to many. Pam (Granny) loved her family and adored her grandkids, and nothing made her happier than having all of them together for Sunday dinner. Her famous fried chicken was one of her many favorite meals to prepare. Pam would make certain that whoever walked in the door was always welcome and would not go home hungry. Pam also loved cooking for everyone else and looked forward to serving the community daily at the Wagon Wheel Cafe for 23 years. Pam was loved by all and will be forever missed by many. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 13, 2020 at the Pike County Fairgrounds from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, your local Hospice organizations, St. Luke’s Hospital, or Fairview Cemetery.
