Ramona Arlene Branstetter, a loving wife and mother of Curryville, Missouri, died at her home on June 27, 2021. Her wish was to be cremated and to have a graveside service. The service will be held at the New Harmony Christian Church on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Doug Storts officiating. Bibb-Veach Funeral Homes and Crematory is handling the arrangements. Ramona was born September 4, 1943 in Casper, Wyoming. She married E. W. Branstetter, Jr. on September 12, 1992 at the New Harmony Christian Church by Rev. Diane Caughron. Ramona is survived by her husband, E.W.; son, Jeffery Ansell of Curryville; brother, Ronald Shrum of Goodyear, Arizona; sister, Linda Shrum of Rogers, Arkansas; niece, Lisa deLeon of Springfield, Missouri; and nephew, Ken McDonald of Rogers, Arkansas. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents. Ramona was a great cook. She was very talented with crafts, and especially enjoyed knitting and jewelry making. She always had several projects going at once. Ramona loved to fish; and although she spent most of her time untangling her line, she usually caught at least a couple of fish before the day was over. She enjoyed country and gospel music. Ramona loved people and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made to New Harmony Cemetery.
