Services for Angel Joy Rudnick will be Saturday September 7,2024 at Mt. Zion Cemetery on Pike County Road 255 with viewing from 1:00-2:00 p.m. followed by Praise and Worship at Mt. Zion Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m. with a carry-in meal following. David Land will be officiating with music by Ernest and Marilyn Motley. On May 21, 1979, someone beautiful entered our lives and for 45 years Angel Joy Steadman Rudnick brought real Joy into our lives. Her life was made more brilliant when she accepted Yahshua as her Saviour. She touched many lives while here on earth. Even though her body suffered pain she continued to spread Joy to others. On September 4, 2024, God the Master Gardener looked down on earth and saw a beautiful yellow rose and decided to add her to His heavenly bouquet. She is now physically gone from our lives but will forever be in His presence. Yet her acts of loving kindness will be long remembered. Angel Joy Steadman Rudnick is the daughter of David Lee and Betty Ann Motley Steadman. Her grandparents are Grandma Betty DeVore of Washington and Peter DeVore, Ernest and Flora Motley, Sr. and Artie Steadman of Heaven. Angel Joy loved praise and worship music; she attended various churches, camps, worked at the Hope Center, and went on mission trips. The last mission trip took her to Arizona where she helped with Native American children. While there she met the love of her life Harlan Craig Rudnick. Joy loved babies and had a son Josiah Allan Rudnick who filled her heart full of more joy. Then she had a daughter Hannah Renee LeeAnn Nichole Rudnick who was her ray of sunshine. Survivors include her husband, children, parents, one grandmother, her mother-in-law Renee’ Rudnick, a brother Jeremiah Steadman and his wife Amy and their son Elijah, brother-in-law Matthew and his wife Julie and their children Justin and wife Alicia and Lauren Shawver and her husband Jonathan, special sister Brit, lots of uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Preceding her in death were two siblings, grandparents Ernest and Flora Motley, Grandpa Artie Steadman and Peter DeVore, and father-in-law Kenneth Rudnick. Memorials can be made in care of Bibb-Veach Funeral Home designated for either expenses or children’s education.
